Founder’s Note
I didn’t set out to build a Living Lab.
I was trying to make life work better.
Since 2009, I’ve designed living and working environments to reduce friction—fewer repeated decisions, fewer surprises, earlier clarity when something begins to drift, and calmer day-to-day operations. Technology was never the goal. It was the tool.
Over time, this approach expanded naturally: from a single space to buildings, systems, and neighborhood-scale operations. What began as a personal method for managing complexity became something more durable.
I eventually realized what I had been building all along.
Human Performance Infrastructure™ — environments designed to reduce cognitive load and emotional toll by improving reliability, observability, and decision clarity, without surveillance or intrusion.
Baccous Intelligence™ exists to formalize that practice and make it replicable. Our Living Labs are not demos or simulations. They are real properties in active operation, where systems must prove their value under everyday conditions.
